Both, because it is the same software. The server takes the order, charges for it and the receipt comes out of the same system where the sale started. The till, the receipts and the invoices are part of the Orders module; it is not a separate till program and it does not connect to another vendor's POS.

Plattio is the POS: the app installs on the tablets, the computer or the terminals you already have, and it does not rely on another vendor's program. Before you start we check in five minutes that your devices and printers are compatible, so there is usually nothing new to buy. It runs on Android and iOS phones and tablets and on a computer with the desktop app.

You load the menu yourself and we help at the start: we do the first setup with you during onboarding, and that is where we look at what you are bringing from your previous system. To take data out, payments export from the app itself filtered by date, method and status, and the X report and the close come out as a PDF or an 80 mm receipt. The tax data of a recorded sale is never rewritten: what you take is what was recorded. If you are coming from another system, show us on the demo what you have and we will tell you what can be reused.

The Plattio POS is the Orders module, so you pay the Orders subscription and nothing else. Every plan includes unlimited receipts and there is no per-receipt fee. The only separate cost is the card terminal, available in Spain, whose hardware and rates are Global Payments terms. Today the setup has no cost beyond your subscription. Orders Esencial with the POS starts at 59 € a month paying the year upfront, or 74 € a month with no commitment.

Yes, in Spain. With the Global Payments integration you take the order and charge from the card terminal in one flow: the amount travels from Plattio's software to the terminal without keying it in twice, and card payments are reconciled inside Plattio. It requires the Orders module (at either of its two levels); without Orders there's no integrated payment.

You need the Orders module and a Global Payments terminal (formats: all-in-one Mobility, checkout-lane pinpad, or App2app/tap on phone). The terminal and the entire payment layer (gateway, management portal, maintenance, 24/7 support, multi-carrier and multi-bank SIM) are provided by Global Payments, at a per-device cost on top of your Plattio plan. The discount rates (from 0.35%) are charged by Global Payments directly to the restaurant: they're not a Plattio commission. The terminal comes with no lock-in and, for now, Spain only. We'll walk you through the terminal and terms in the demo.

It's built into Orders and covers cash and card. You open the till with an opening float, log the movements (cash in, cash out and withdrawals, including tip withdrawals and bank drops) and close the shift by counting each coin and note denomination. You see the payment breakdown for cash and card with the number of charges, tips and refunds; the expected cash and expected card (card is reconciled against the terminal's batch close); the shift variance (expected vs counted) and the history of past closes. If a bill is paid part in cash and part by card, each part goes to its own method: the report needs no «mixed» category, because what balances the till is how much came in as cash and how much by card.

The app detects it and warns you of the amount. From Operations you add each of those payments to the open till and they are logged as a rescued payment taken with no till open, so the expected cash at closing includes what was charged before opening.

No. The amount and the payment method of a recorded sale are locked. If there is a mistake, the fix is a refund plus a new charge, and both stay visible in the history, each refund tied to the payment it corrects. The app itself explains this by the anti-fraud rules. What you can do is add an internal note, print a copy and download or issue the invoice from the operation detail.

Yes. Every receipt is printed with a unique QR code. The guest scans it, enters their billing details and receives the invoice by email right away, without dictating details to the server or coming back another day for it. It is a convenience for the guest. The tax QR code that VeriFactu requires in Spain is a different code.

Yes, in Spain. Invoicing is integrated with the Spanish Tax Agency's system via VeriFactu, for real tax compliance. A recorded sale is never rewritten. The amount and the payment method are locked and, if there is a mistake, the fix is a refund plus a new charge, both kept in plain sight. Companies must have their system adapted before 1 January 2027 and the self-employed before 1 July 2027, under Royal Decree-Law 15/2025.
