This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how and why we use them on the Plattio website and on our platform, which types we use, and how you can manage or disable them. This Policy is part of our Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.
1. Who we are
The party responsible for this website is Plattio LLC, a company registered in the State of Delaware, United States, with its registered address at 8 The Green STE B, Dover, DE 19901. We provide software as a service (SaaS) for managing reservations and operations at restaurants worldwide.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, mobile phone, or tablet) when you visit it. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time, so that you do not have to reconfigure them each time you browse or return.
Alongside cookies, we use other similar technologies that perform equivalent functions and which, in this Policy, are included under the term "cookies":
- Local and session storage (local storage and session storage): store information in your browser for the operation of the application.
- Pixels and web beacons (web beacons): tiny images that help measure interactions, for example whether a page or an email has been opened.
- Device identifiers and SDKs: used in mobile environments or integrations to identify the device or session.
3. Why do we use cookies?
- To enable the site and the platform to operate correctly and securely.
- To keep you logged in and remember your preferences (for example, language).
- To protect the service against fraud and abuse.
- To understand how the site is used in order to measure and improve its performance.
- Where appropriate and with your consent, to display relevant content or communications.
4. Legal basis and consent
Strictly necessary cookies are placed on the basis of our legitimate interest and the need to provide the service you request; they do not require your prior consent.
Non-essential cookies (analytics, advanced functionality, and marketing) are placed only with your consent, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive, and other applicable regulations. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, as explained in Section 8.
If you are located in the United States, certain state laws (such as California's CCPA/CPRA ) regulate the use of cookies in terms of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and grant you the right to opt out; see Section 10.
How we manage your consent: the analytics and marketing cookies described in this policy are activated only after you accept them through our banner. Until then, no measurement script is loaded (not even Google Tag Manager) and no data is sent to those providers: the site runs solely on strictly necessary cookies. If you withdraw your consent, we stop using those cookies and delete the ones already set in your browser. Your decision expires after 180 days, at which point we will ask you again. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
5. Types of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary (essential). Essential for the site to function: login, security, load balancing, and preserving your actions while browsing. Without them, the service cannot be provided.
- Functionality or preferences. These remember the options you choose (for example, language or display settings) to offer you a more personalized experience.
- Analytics or performance. These allow us to understand, on an aggregated basis, how visitors interact with the site (most visited pages, errors, load times) in order to improve it. They are activated only with your consent.
- Marketing or advertising. These are used to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and, where applicable, to show you relevant content on or off the site. They are activated only with your consent.
6. First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are those placed by Plattio's own domain. Third-party cookies are placed by external providers whose services we use or to whose pages we direct you.
Currently, we use two third-party providers on the Site: Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4), to measure site usage, whose cookies are activated only with your consent to the analytics category; and Meta (Meta Pixel), to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, whose cookies are activated only with your consent to the marketing category. In the future we may activate other tools, such as Google Ads, TikTok (TikTok Pixel), LinkedIn (Insight Tag) or Microsoft (Clarity): if we do, we will update this policy and they will load only with consent to their category. Likewise, when you click on "Book a demo" or equivalent links, we direct you to Calendly (on its own domain, outside the Site) to schedule a meeting; Calendly may place its own cookies on its page.
When we embed a third-party tool on the Site (for example, an advertising pixel), Plattio is a joint controller for the collection and transmission of data to that provider, and will inform you of this in this policy and in the Privacy Policy. The subsequent processing each provider carries out in its own systems is governed by its privacy and cookie policies, which we recommend reviewing.
7. List of cookies
The first table lists the cookies and similar technologies currently in use on the Site. The second lists those we may activate in the future: if we do, we will update this policy and, in any event, they will not be set without your prior consent.

8. How to manage or disable cookies
You have several ways to control cookies:
- Banner and preferences panel. Where required by law, we display a banner that allows you to accept, reject, or configure non-essential cookies before they are placed. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link on the site.
- Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings:
- Third-party opt-out tools. Some providers offer their own opt-out mechanisms. For interest-based advertising, you can use Your Online Choices (EU) or YourAdChoices (U.S.).
9. "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals and Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Some browsers allow you to send a "Do Not Track" signal (Do Not Track). Since there is no uniform standard on how these signals should be interpreted, we currently do not respond to them in a specific manner, unless required by applicable law.
Where the law so requires, we recognize Global Privacy Control (Global Privacy Control, GPC) signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
10. Residents of California and other U.S. states
Certain United States privacy laws (such as California's CCPA/CPRA , as well as those of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah) consider that the use of certain third-party cookies may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for advertising purposes.
Plattio does not sell your personal information in exchange for money. If in the future we use cookies that involve a "sale" or "sharing" under such laws, we will provide you with a clear mechanism to exercise your right to "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information", and we will honor GPC signals. 11. International transfers
Information collected through cookies may be processed in the United States and other countries. When data is transferred from jurisdictions with restrictions (for example, the EU or the United Kingdom), we apply recognized mechanisms, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable. You will find more detail in our Privacy Policy.
12. Minors
Our site and our platform are not directed to minors below the applicable minimum age (for example, 16 in the EU or 13 in the U.S.). We do not knowingly use cookies to create profiles of minors.
13. Consequences of disabling cookies
You can reject or delete cookies, but please note that if you disable strictly necessary cookies, some features of the site or the platform may not function correctly (for example, not keeping you logged in). Disabling analytics or marketing cookies does not affect the basic operation of the site.
14. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal, technical, or operational reasons. We will publish the updated version on this page and indicate the date of the last update. If the changes are substantial, we will notify you by reasonable means.
