Each station sees only its own

You decide which categories go to the kitchen, the bar or the pastry station. The split is automatic.

Target times per station

With alerts when a station falls behind, so nobody finds out when it's already too late.

A coordinated pass, if you need one

An expo station decides when each table goes out complete. It's optional.

Buffet or self-service? With the Digital Menu, guests order from the table by QR or NFC and the order comes in through the same place. It's an optional mode: your servers' workflow doesn't change.

Connect Orders with Reservations, Waitlists, CRM + Analytics and the Digital Menu:

Global Payments integration · Spain only

Order and payment, in a single flow

Take the order and charge from the card terminal without leaving Plattio. The amount travels from the software to the terminal without keying it in twice, and card payments are reconciled inside Plattio.

Taking a card payment at a restaurant table
  • Reconciled cash-up

Open the till with an opening float and close the shift with expected cash and expected card: card totals reconcile against the terminal's batch close and you see the variance (expected vs counted) right away.

  • Real average check by table, server and shift

Payments live in the same ecosystem as the order, so revenue and average check by table, server and shift are real data you can cross-reference in your analytics.

  • Fewer errors and fewer disputes

Servers never key in the amount: fewer charge errors and fewer chargebacks.

Requires the Orders module (from Bronze)Available in Spain only for nowNo lock-in

Global Payments provides the terminal and the entire payment layer. The terminal cost is per device and per month, on top of your Plattio plan; we'll walk you through it in the demo.

Mobility (all-in-one)

All-in-one Android terminal to take payment anywhere on the floor.

Checkout lane (pinpad)

A pinpad for your checkout lane, right by the point of sale.

App2app (tap on phone)

Tap on phone: take payment with your own phone, no extra terminal.

Rates from just 0.35%

It's a Global Payments rate, charged directly to the restaurant. It's not a Plattio commission and sits outside your plan.

Provided by Global Payments

  • Android terminal, payment gateway and management portal
  • Terminal maintenance and 24/7 technical support
  • Portal for reports, transactions and refunds
  • Multi-carrier, multi-bank SIM card (direct debit with any bank)

Can I take card payments from Orders?

Yes, in Spain. With the Global Payments integration you take the order and charge from the card terminal in one flow: the amount travels from Plattio's software to the terminal without keying it in twice, and card payments are reconciled inside Plattio. It requires the Orders module (available from the Bronze plan); without Orders there's no integrated payment.

What do I need to charge with the card terminal, and who collects the fees?

You need the Orders module and a Global Payments terminal (formats: all-in-one Mobility, checkout-lane pinpad, or App2app/tap on phone). The terminal and the entire payment layer (gateway, management portal, maintenance, 24/7 support, multi-carrier and multi-bank SIM) are provided by Global Payments, at a per-device cost on top of your Plattio plan. The discount rates (from 0.35%) are charged by Global Payments directly to the restaurant: they're not a Plattio commission. No lock-in and, for now, Spain only. We'll walk you through the terminal and terms in the demo.

How does the cash-up (Z report) work?

It's built into Orders and covers cash and card. You open the till with an opening float, log the movements (cash in, cash out and withdrawals, including tip withdrawals and bank drops) and close the shift by counting each coin and note denomination. You see the payment breakdown for cash and card with the number of charges, tips and refunds; the expected cash and expected card (card is reconciled against the terminal's batch close); the shift variance (expected vs counted) and the history of past closes.

Is invoicing Verifactu-compliant?

Yes, in Spain. Invoicing is integrated with the Spanish Tax Agency's system via Verifactu, for real tax compliance. Fiscal invoicing depends on each country: outside Spain this integration isn't available yet.

Yes, you can add or remove items after sending. Every change is logged with a timestamp and the responsible user for a full audit trail.

You disable the dish and it instantly disappears from the order pad. That way the team can't order something you can no longer serve, with no cross-outs and no shouting across the room.

Yes. Each dish can have several portion sizes, each with its own price. The server picks the portion when adding the dish and the order pad calculates the right amount.

Yes. With the Digital Menu, the daily fixed-price menu (first, second and third course) shows up in the order pad and is organized by courses to coordinate the pass.

The admin sets up rules by menu category. For example: 'Starters' → Kitchen, 'Drinks' → Bar, 'Desserts' → Pastry. The system routes everything automatically.

Both are supported. You can go modern with kitchen display screens, stick with traditional printers, or mix the two depending on what each station needs.
