The Whistleblowing Channel is a confidential means to report, in good faith, conduct or events that may constitute a legal violation, a breach of our internal policies, or an infringement of rights. This page describes how it works and what guarantees we offer.
1. Who can use it
The Channel may be used by anyone who becomes aware of a possible irregularity related to Plattio, including employees, collaborators, interns, candidates, former employees, suppliers, customers, partners, and any third party connected to our activity.
2. What you can report
Through this Channel you can report, among others, conduct related to:
- Fraud, corruption, bribery, or conflicts of interest.
- Money laundering or financial and accounting irregularities.
- Violations of data protection regulations or security breaches.
- Harassment, discrimination, or infringement of labor or fundamental rights.
- Violations of applicable regulations or of our Code of Conduct.
- Serious risks to safety, health, or the environment.
3. What this Channel is not
The Whistleblowing Channel is not a customer service or technical support service. For product issues, billing, or sales inquiries, please use our usual contact channels instead.
4. How to submit a report
You can send your report by email to [email protected]. To facilitate the investigation, we recommend including, as far as possible:
- A clear description of the facts.
- The people or areas involved.
- Dates, places, and any document or evidence supporting the report.
- A means of contact, if you wish to receive information about the follow-up (optional).
5. Confidentiality and anonymity
We treat all reports with the utmost confidentiality. The identity of the reporting person and of those affected will be kept private and will only be shared with those who must take part in the investigation or when the law so requires. You may submit your report anonymously; in that case, please note that the absence of a means of contact may limit our ability to request clarifications or inform you of the outcome.
6. Protection against retaliation
Plattio prohibits any form of retaliation against anyone who reports a possible irregularity in good faith or collaborates in its investigation. No one will suffer dismissal, sanction, discrimination, or unfavorable treatment for using this Channel in good faith, even if the facts are ultimately not confirmed.
7. Good faith and false reports
The Channel must be used in good faith. The deliberate reporting of false information or reporting made in bad faith may give rise to the corresponding disciplinary or legal measures, without this affecting the protection of those who report in good faith.
8. How we handle your data
The personal data provided through the Channel is processed for the purpose of managing and investigating the report, on the basis of compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interest in preventing and detecting irregularities. We retain the information only for as long as necessary to process the report and comply with applicable legal obligations. You can find more details in our Privacy Policy.
9. Procedure and deadlines
- Acknowledgment of receipt of the report within a maximum of 7 days of its receipt, except for anonymous reports without a means of contact.
- Internal, confidential, and impartial investigation of the reported facts.
- A response regarding the measures planned or taken within a reasonable period, which will not exceed 3 months from the acknowledgment of receipt, except in justified cases.
